One organization is taking a look at families in our state and how they are doing during the pandemic.
Scott Kimbler....... [Children's and family health is the focus of the Annie E. Casey Foundation. Leslie Boissiere is with the foundation and says many families were struggling before the pandemic and the restrictions that have come along with it, have just made things worse for some. Boissiere says African-American families are more affected by the pandemic, in many areas because of the economic conditions already being experienced by those domographics.
It is her policymakers and child advocates to unite to put COVID-19 response at the top of their agendas for the coming year. ]
