A group of voters is suing Virginia election officials over a loosening of restrictions on absentee ballots for next month’s statewide primary. Angie Norvell reports:

Governor Ralph Northam is providing funding for criminal justice programs. The Governor announced 95-million-dollars will go to 229 localities, state agencies, and non-profit organizations throughout the state. Money is expected to help people who are locked up and preparing for release. The funds will also help support victim services, pre and post trial incarceration services, and child advocacy programs.  
 
As most programs and businesses are closed today due to Memorial Day, Fairfax County Schools meal distribution will take place as normal. Meals are available for anyone under the age of 18 and adults may pay two-dollars for a meal as well. The curbside pickup locations are at various schools throughout the county from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. More information is made available on the county schools website.  
 
 
Northern Virginia will continue their efforts to slow the spread of the coronavirus with free testing today. Testing events will take place at Landmark Mall and Cora Kelly School in Alexandria.
