Several residents in Hampton Roads are still without power. Tropical Storm Isaias moved through the area bringing strong winds and heavy rain. At one point yesterday, there was over 300-thousand customers without power statewide. Chesapeake, Newport News and Virginia Beach continue to have the highest number of people in the dark.  
 
 
The regional headquarters for Kroger moves into the Richmond area. Kroger announced Tuesday the offices for its mid-Atlantic division will relocate from Roanoke to Henrico County by year's end. The company is moving locally due to the chain's growth in the area and its potential to better equip stores. There are currently 18 Kroger stores in the region.  
 
 
A group of VCU professors wants to go all-virtual this fall. The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports the school's chapter of American Association of University Professors passed a resolution yesterday to switch to online classes due to almost certain COVID-19 outbreaks that will occur on campus.  
 
 
The Richmond area's largest amusement park will remain shuttered the rest of the year. The vice president for Kings Dominion said yesterday the state's current restrictions to only allow up to one-thousand visitors caused park officials to officially keep the gates closed this season.
