Avery worked at Pediatric Partners for Attention and Learning since 2012 where she provided therapy, recommended medication and even testified at child custody hearings. But an investigation led to her arrest in May of 2019 after it was discovered Avery lied about her college degrees and faked her resume. Avery had never actually finished college. She has been charged with nine felonies and will serve 35 years of supervised probation after her 11-year prison sentence is up.]
