Hampton Police say they have arrested a man in connection to a shooting Friday morning. Officers were called West Pembroke Avenue and found 32-year-old Michael Davis shot to death. Police arrested 30-year-old Tyshawn DeShields and charged him with murder. Authorities say the motive for the shooting isn't know at this time. DeShields is in custody at the Hampton City jail.
Bernie Sanders is bringing the focus of his presidential campaign to Virginia this week. The Vermont Senator easily won the Democratic primary in Nevada on Saturday, and now sits as the party's frontrunner. A rally is scheduled at The National on Broad Street in Richmond Thursday afternoon. Sanders will make stops at rallies in Leesburg and Virginia Beach on Saturday. And around ten thousand people showed up for a Pete Buttigieg town hall in Northern Virginia yesterday.
