Police in Loudoun County say three people were seriously wounded in a shooting at an apartment complex in Leesburg. Officers went to the 800 block of Edward's Ferry Road last night after the shooting was reported. Police say the three victims were in stable condition after being treated at a local hospital. Investigators have interviewed several people but no arrests have been announced

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held yesterday for the project, which was approved last year. The new 900-square-foot restroom facility is positioned along Capital Trail between Dorey Park and Charles City County's Edgewood Plantation.
Professional putters from around the U.S. will be in Roanoke this weekend to compete in an invitation-only event. The Professional Putters Association will be holding its National Invitational at the Putt-Putt Fun Center tomorrow and Sunday. The PPA has been around since 1960, holding tournaments for professional and amateur putters around the United States. The prize pool for some national events on the PPA Tour can be ten-thousand dollars or more.
