An inmate in a southwest Virginia prison has been indicted for murder for the death of his cellmate. The Virginia Department of Corrections says Julian Leon Mitchell was charged with aggravated murder in Wise County last week. Investigators say Mitchell was responsible for the death of Jowell Legendre, who was found unresponsive in their shared cell at Red Onion State Prison in August of last year. Mitchell reportedly told investigators that Legendre fell from his bunk.
