Governor Glenn Youngkin says he wants to create a financial cushion to blunt the impact of federal spending and job cuts; doing it by vetoing 36 line items in the revised 2-yr budget to the tune of $900 million dollars. Youngkin telling reporters later Friday...Preview: He called the cuts "prudent," saying it will put the state in a "strong, dynamic position" to react to changes at the federal level. Most of his budget cuts will impact the current fiscal year. The 2-yr general budget is $62 billion.
Police are searching for a man reported missing in Norfolk. Deshawn Jerrell Wilson, Junior was reported missing on April 24th. The 21-year-old was last seen in the Ocean View area on March 15th. He's described as five-feet, five-inches tall, 135 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair in dreadlocks. Anyone with information is asked to call the Norfolk Police Department.

One politician worries the stadium going up means moving people out. Another says the area needs a grocery store not a stadium.
