The Albemarle County Fire Marshal's Office is investigating a series of suspicious blazes that broke out in a park south of Charlottesville. Albemarle County Fire Rescue says more than two dozen fires were discovered in Biscuit Run Park yesterday afternoon. Three of the brushfires reportedly grew to at least an acre in size. All the wildfires were contained last night and the preliminary reports indicate the cause was "incendiary in nature." The park is currently closed for trail construction, but investigators are hoping someone may have information that could be used to identify a suspect.

Richmond Police Chief Rick Edwards tells 12 On Your Side the exercise can break down barriers and get kids to see police officers as human beings.

Survivors of the October 7th Hamas attack on Israel are suing pro-Palestinian advocacy groups. The plaintiffs, five American survivors of the attack and a family member of one victim who was killed, are accusing these groups of "aiding and abetting terrorists." Of the remaining 129 Israeli hostages from the initial attack, Israel officials believe at least 34 are dead.
