A judge will decide whether to delay Dominion's offshore wind project. Animal groups worry the project will harm the endangered North Atlantic right whale after several of the dead animals have washed up along the East Coast in recent years. Multiple groups filed a lawsuit against the $9.8 billion dollar Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind project. The Virginia Mercury reports the planned 176-turbine wind farm is waiting for a federal judge to decide if Dominion Energy obtained the necessary federal approvals.
