A junior named Holden is one of about ten students who can't go. He says he was looking forward to it, and since there are only two grades, he thought everyone would get to go. School officials tell CBS 6 students can add their names to a waitlist but tickets will be very limited and seniors will get priority.
The owner of an Arlington mall that opened nearly 50 years ago has told all remaining tenants that they need to be out by the end of October. JBG Smith has told the tenants of Crystal City Underground that the concept is no longer financially sustainable and that a new plan for the retail space will be developed. About two-dozen tenants are still open at the mall, which was hailed as a modern urban shopping corridor when it debuted in 1976. JBG Smith says it hopes to help the remaining tenants relocate to other available spaces in the Crystal City area.
