A man convicted in the 1988 murder of a Lynchburg teenager has died.Preview: A statewide AMBER Alert has been cancelled after a missing southwest Virginia child was found last night. Ten-month-old Cedar Samuel Griffith was reportedly abducted in Gate City on Monday night. Law enforcement had been looking for 30-year-old Ashley Griffith in connection with the abduction. The Virginia State Police announced last night that the child and the suspect had been found and that the child was safe. No other details about the alleged abduction were released.
