Virginia State University is pulling back on their fall plans. The school announced that they will move forward with a fully virtual start. In addition, students will no longer be able to return to the campus for classes. It comes after several universities have experienced COVID-19 outbreaks. The school had previously attempted to have students return to campus next month.  
 
The Northern Virginia Equity Coalition is calling on a Fairfax County Library Board member to resign. According to WMDT, the group says Philip Rosenthal made racist and anti-LGBTQ comments during a board meeting last month. The coalition wrote a letter to the Board of Supervisors in the county pleading their case. Officials with the Library Board of Trustees said the comments made during the discussion were by the individual and does not reflect the Board as a whole.  
 
Passenger numbers at Richmond International Airport are climbing up. More than 116-thousand people came through the airport last month, which is a jump of nearly 40-thousand passengers from June. Despite the increase, numbers in July remained 70-percent below this same time last year. The amount of passengers has been steadily rising since April, when effects of the coronavirus pandemic started to hit the airline industry hard.
