Henrico police are continuing to investigate a crash that killed a 68-year-old man in a wheelchair last weekend. Officers say John Krueger was struck and killed by a car while trying to cross West Broad Street near I-64 on Saturday night. The driver told police he didn't see Krueger at the time of the wreck. It's unclear if he'll face charges.  
 
State Police are actively searching for a suspect that fired shots into a car. The shooting took place on I-264 last Friday just after midnight. Authorities say 22-year-old Shyheim Thomas Collins fired shots from his vehicle into another. Police believe the suspect is armed and dangerous.  
 
Loudoun County Public Schools are making changes to Columbus Day. The holiday will now be called Indigenous People's Day. Officials say they encouraging everyone to recognize the contributions of Indigenous communities. The measure passed with an 8-to-1 vote on Tuesday night.
